How to Add an Icon to Your Name

Have you noticed that some of the users here have a little image before their usernames? You can have one too! It's very simple!

Step 1: Go to Account Settings

In the upper right hand corner of the screen, click on your name. Then, click on 'account settings.'

Step 2: Go to User Icon

Once you're at the account settings page, you should see a list of links with the various options you have for your account. Near the bottom of the list will be 'user icon.' Click on it!

Step 3: Select Your Icon

The user icon page will have a long list of the icons you can use. Click the little circle beside the one you want, and then scroll down to the bottom of the page. There, you will also be able to choose what color you want it to appear as. The colors work with HEX color codes, which means a 6-digit series of letters and numbers. For example: ffff00 or 111111. You can do a Google search for "hex color picker" and it will pull one up for you, like it does with a calculator or Google Translate. :)

Once you've picked the icon and color you want, be sure to click the Save button! Enjoy!
