Hello everyone, I'm new to RPG Initiative but also on RPG Directory and even Reddit. I'm a veteran role player for online, freeform and text-based storytelling style RPGs. Basically, I love to write and I have a big imagination and I adore being around likeminded creative spirits. I'm also a veteran of Worlde Arcane, which was my favourite game for long time but it no longer exists. Just mentioning it in case anyone comes across this post and wants to reconnect. Looking forward to being a part of the community. I don't just advertise on directories like this, I use them as a Game Master resource to talk shop with other Admins and Mods and get ideas, etc. etc. Oh, and as the subject said, I'm from Canada (Toronto)! Hello there! I am known around the internet as Poe or Poe the Villain. I have been rping for roughly 8 years on and off. I started off RPing wolves and graduated to other animal genres until I found my home among the canine RPG community. Sometimes I venture out into the supernatural human community too, but since the death of the last one I was apart of I haven't joined another. I joined this site to not only advertise my forum, but use the resources and discussions to better my forum as well. I can't wait to meet some new people and be apart of some awesome discussions!

Well, found out about RPG Initiative via some of the regulars at RPG Directory, so I decided - why not? So here I am. I'm from Singapore, and a relative latecomer to forum roleplay having only gotten into the hobby in early 2008 at the age of 26, but all things considered I think I learn pretty fast - so who's to say you can't teach an old dog new tricks huh? Anyways, my preferred RP circles tend to be in anime-related stuff, whether it be based off an anime fandom, or just generally leans strongly towards anime aesthetics such as skins, face claims, and such. Currently head admin of my own site, former head admin of one other site, a co-admin on still another, and a global moderator as far as my staffing experience goes. So yeah, hi everyone.

I'm really glad that there is a template because I never know what to say here. First of all Hi! I'm Liz. How long have you been RPing? I have been RPing for... 13 years now I guess. I'm 26 and I started back on the Harry Potter WB Forums when I was 13 What are your favorite RP genres? I find myself enjoying almost anything but Supernatural/Fantasy are probably my preferences. I started with Harry Potter and only did that for a very long time then I branched out into Supernatural (the show and the genre), and real life crime/mafia type sites. Currently I'm only working with Supernatural (the show) which is nice because depending on your character you can sort of play a different variety of things. How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)? Forum, I have done Chat and e-mail before but I prefer when you have an environment to create a story in. What is your favorite book, movie or type of music (or all three)? This is like asking my favorite child. I'm not sure I can even answer! I have way too many favorites to pick just one. Some of them include Harry Potter (books and movies) LOTR (books and movies). My music taste is ridiculous and ranges all over the damn place. From Rat Pack to Pop, to Hard Rock It's an eclectic playlist to be sure. What other interest/Hobbies do you have? Outside of writing for fun I write professionally as well. I released a young-adult urban fantasy novel last year which has been an interesting experience so I spend the majority of my free time working on completing that series. What's your favorite color? Definitely Purple What's your favorite drink? Dr. Pepper or Whiskey Sours...depends on what kind of drink. I don't know what else to say I think that pretty much covers it!

hello all! never really been good at intros so i will just go ahead and answer the questions laid forth here. How long have you been RPing? i've been rping since the age of 13, and now i'm 25. i would tell you the amount of years but honestly i am terrible at math and should not be trusted with numbers ever. What are your favorite RP genres? fantasy, fandom (harry potter, game of thrones, etc. tbh kind of burnt out on harry potter at the moment) How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)? i prefer forum! What is your favorite book, movie or type of music (or all three)? hmmm my favorite book is blue sword by robin mckinley, fave movie is the sherlock holmes series with jude law and rdj, and my fave band of all time is the beatles What other interest/Hobbies do you have? i do graphic design for work and some coding, which doesn't necessarily translate well when it comes to rp stuff so i mostly just tweak codes (with permission) and do bare minimum blends What's your favorite color? blue!! Hello friends! On the internet I'm known as a few things, like Tia or Splendid, but here I've used my RP forum's name because that seemed to make the most sense to me. I saw that this looks like a great resource for total newb administrators like me and so I hope I can learn a lot here, and bring it back to my RPG, and just treat my member-base well, as well as expanding their gameplay for them. I've been roleplaying for over ten years. I have roleplayed probably everything imaginable and I am not afraid to try new things, or to try to challenge the limits with how we roleplay. I prefer to roleplay on forums as I like the relaxed atmosphere in the nature of replying, so it just works for me. I had been planning a roleplay project of my own for five years but only was just recently pushed to complete it by a friend, now we're out of initial development and tentatively opened to the public. It's freakin' hard, no one told me it would be this hard, haha! And you know I ran RP forums when I was a preteen but I was so bad at it. Every site I touched turned into inactive gobbledygook. I'm much more confident in my skills as a webmaster now, and I want to help my forum succeed, and engage my members. I hope there's a lot people can offer me here, because I intend to keep learning!
