I'm almost 30 *cries*, from the United Kingdom and a friend of mine brought me here as I'm an avid role player and USELESS at graphics, coding, and all that stuff, so to find a place like this makes me feel blessed. <333 I love all things Disney, animal related, Doctor Who, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Marvel/DC, Vampire Diaries, Gilmore Girls, The Crown, Virgin River, Friends, Scrubs, Frasier, Stranger Things, a LOT of games (RDR2, The Last of Us, Spider-Man & God of War being some of my current faves), and so many other things. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a couch potato, and love nothing more than lounging about in my pyjamas watching Netflix. xD Anyway, hai! Thank you for having me. 😺

Hey there everyone! The name's zombiequeenkai! You can call me Zombie, Queen, or Kai. I don't really mind all that much. I joined awhile ago and I'm still trying to get my feet wet with this site. Anyways, I've been roleplaying for about many years now. I started out on tinierme then moved to deviantart then f-list and finally random roleplaying forums (such as here). I'm currently 23 and in college. I'm gunning for that sweet, sweet English degree with a minor in creative writing. If it isn't obvious, writing is like bread and butter to me. So it makes sense why I like roleplaying so much. It's my way of relaxing. But considering I'm a college student and I have a surprisingly active social life, I can't be here all the time. I can do minor things like answering messages and questions (since phones are a thing), replying to a roleplay takes some actual brain power from me and I only reply when I'm at home. A random factor about me: I'm like... really into yanderes. I can write an essay for you about the trope if I so desired (thankfully for everyone, I'm not). I currently run a yandere review blog on tumblr with my friend called ThatYandereCritic... if anyone is curious. So... bye for now~!

How long have you been RPing? This Winter would be Seven Years. Though I'm honestly unsure of the exact date when my first Roleplay began. I remember the art that came from it. And sadly it has not aged well. Lol. What are your favorite RP genres? Supernatural. Gothic-Fantasy. Folkloric. Medieval Fantasy...honestly, I enjoy dark and mature themes. I am a fan of trial and angst, and bringing characters to a breaking point and building them back up. Writing in a specific Genre has never been what was most important to me as some things written can not be define to a fixed point. How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)? Discord. Due to my steady moving lifestyle, I can not always be present on a specific website that doesn't have an app or will send me active, and aggressive notifications. Discord has a convenience that I prefer, and due to the privacy it provides (if RPs grow to be what some would classify as triggering) , it's easier to give focus to a world. What country are you from? North America, US What is your favorite book, movie or type of music (or all three)? I wish I could answer this. But just reading it caused my mind to misfire with every book, movie, or song that ever invoked some feeling within me. So I won't. If either leans towards feelings of melancholy or dolefulness, I enjoy it. I find the things that dwell in the shadows to be absolutely beautiful, and most artist expressions of such grip me. What other interest/Hobbies do you have? I've written in some places so far, (and now here) that I enjoy drawing. Specifically digital art. I do it almost everyday, and have been doing it longer than I have been RPing. Now the two are joined and it's rare that one will not bring the other. What's your favorite color? Monochrome. I'm aware that it isn't a colour. But it should give you a general idea of where I am coming from. What's your favorite drink? At the moment? Mimosas. I've been drinking them everyday for almost a week. It will eventually pass as all things do.

Well hi! Where do I begin in all this. On my search for a way to get my ever growing two year old site more attention I stumbled onto this site. It was just what I was looking for after all. I have been RPing since I was a child and the only thing we had than was that old paper notebook you would pass around in the hall and giggle at like school girls when the scene would turn interesting. Hahaha. When the whole computer times took off though I was right on those RP sites so let’s give a rough estimate of 15+ years of RP experience. With 2 years of running my own and even more years of working on them. my favorite RP genres is.. well.. all of them XD the site I own is apocalypse/zombies/walking dead. But of course like more genres it touches into all of the romance, real life, scary, and so much more. Along with that I am staff on affiliated sites with mine that range from fairytale/fantasy to survival to anything and everything in between. I also am in the work of coding an entire site for RP lovers that like that whole building your characters stats and so on in the Middle Earth setting so that has been fun XD so my favorite forum of RP is forum and private/mail. I like forum because it gives others the opportunity to see your character develop but I like mail because..well... sometimes things are better left in private hahaha. But I can also work in any form of RP from the *(stars for actions) to 3rd person past narrative and so on! Fun fun! I am a long time reader and a lot of people bash me for this but my favorite type are those romance smut novels. I know terrible woman I am xD but I like them. Especially with a touch of supernatural. It stimulates my creativity I think with all the worded details of everything. But movies are for sure horror. Give me a good horror movie and I will either scream, hide or just make a joke of it so I don’t do the two previous options. I have ave a lot of hobbies. I draw..a lot. I actually illustrator for sites. Currently my portfolio has 13+ sites in it with over 12,000+ (yes that’s twelve thousand XD) unique images in them. That’s a lot now that I write it down. I mostly spend my time on my Apocalypse site. Which is why I am here looking for love for it. So I hope you guys will check it out! Oh right! Last two! My favorite color is ... okay I got two. Purple and teal(mad hatter!) and my favorite drink is bubble tea that is matcha, banana milk or chai flavor! Mmm I might go get some now! Anyway! Thank you guys for checking me out! I've been RPing for about 90M years, mostly science fiction/fantasy. Looks like most of my RPing these days is Pern related, on forums, though I also have Dreamwidth accounts for roleplaying as well. I'm from the United States, in the backwaters of Wisconsin at the moment. I have Discord: lightbirbs#9612. I'm an artist with Fibromyalgia, which means if I drive myself too hard I get really bad pain flares that can last hours. 😞 Right now, I'm still waiting for surgery to deaden some nerves but my insurance is probably playing Pong and sniffing glue. Usually I like to mix in a few genres. - Horror / Thriller - Romance / Mature content / Tension - Conflict / Violence How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)? Forums are great, but sometimes I much prefer to use google docs simply for the ease of it. I can write anywhere, automatic updates. I tend to fit to what my partner wants sometimes. Christine Feehan "The Dark Series" I enjoyed; I also enjoyed "The Women of the Otherworld" series by Kelley Armstrong. Hello! My name is Erin, but on most forums I go by either Bella, KQ, or Kazz. It's really just a play on whatever character I'm playing at the moment. I've been roleplaying for about eight years now, but am definitely still learning how to become a better writer. My favourite genre tends to be either any variation of theatre (musicals/plays, not in real life situations) or Harry Potter. In most cases I roleplay on forums these days- I find the pacing and community much more appealing. My favourite musical artist, if I had to pick one would probably be Queen and ABBA. Outside of writing I am a game developer, and my job is as a graphics designer and development manager for a video of game. When I have time I also help write out quests and whatnot. I also double as a theatre technician/designer, specializing in costumes and audio. I'm excited to be a part of this community! Thanks for having me.

Hey everyone. I'm Freya. I'm perpetually 25, married, one absolutely insane toddler who is going to rule the world and likely burn it to the ground, and a very avid roleplayer. I also realized that I've made like two posts now and have been poking the bejeesus out of people and haven't yet said hello to all the lovely people here. I mostly like supernatural (as in magic/werecreatures/ect, not the fandom) forums, though I've been known to branch out to other kinds of roleplays if the plot is interesting enough. I've honestly lost track of how many years I've been roleplaying, not including the two or three years I stalled out. I don't have any one set playby that I consider my favorite, though I am more interested in playing females as for whatever reason, I tend to lose muse for male characters. No idea why, just a quirk I suppose. I'm a fan of the more badass type of female characters though. The ones who aren't afraid to be girly but also aren't afraid to get down and dirty in a fight. I'm not really good at playing "damsel in distress" types of characters. Anyway, enough about me. I want to know more about you all! How are you, how have your lives been, what kind of roleplays do you like, anything you want to tell me! I want to make all kinds of friends!

Hi yall!! I'm Vermin, but I also go by Sasha in these parts. I've been roleplaying for 8 years now, but it's actually the first time I've ever opened, owned and staffed a board - exciting!! I've been on a few before - most sadly short lived, some I must admit I've flaked on due to one reason or the other - but I've always had at least one 1x1 going at any given time, and I honestly can't imagine my life without rp atm. A huge part of that is probably that between Uni and work, I don't really have much time to commit to any other hobby as much. I still doodle from time to time (.... most recently for RP) and do a bit of solo writing, but the rest of my free time is spent binging shows, manga and movies or playing games - typical stuff. Generally, I'm a very excitable person, I'm an eternal optimist and I suppose a tad idealistic, I'm super into space and super heroes and fairy tales and dumb action blockbusters and I'm studying pedagogics to go into social work. Hello loves, I'm Hysteria; Cliche Queen and RP Addict at your service. To save you all my over-zealous rants, I'll just answer these questions. How long have you been RPing? I started officially roleplaying when I was around eight years old (around 2006) but before then I'd exchange journals with friends from school or do the writing via messaging systems such as AIM or Myspace, you get the idea. What are your favorite RP genres? I'm normally a sucker for animal roleplays or things centering around the non-human variety. However, I can also be found on High School sites, Supernaturals, Sci-Fi's, and Medievals. Dystopians always own my heart, but I think it just depends on my current obsession and whether or not the environment fits my needy personality. How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)? Forums, mostly. I don't mind rapid fire's through chats, though. What is your favorite book, movie or type of music (or all three)? My taste in movies ranges from eighties slashers to cheesy romances. I also have a sick adoration for torture porn (aka the Saw series and similar flicks) as well as Psychological Horrors, Studio Ghibli films, and a few Comedies (namely Tyler Perry's lighter films). My guilty movie pleasure is Moulin Rouge. When it comes to books, I'm a huge fan of the both Manga and Comics (Team DC) but when it comes to actual novels, I really enjoy older authors like William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and Maya Angelou. Stephan King's Carrie always resonated with me as well, and Ellen Hopkin's poetry is a joy to read (especially her YA novels,). I'm not really into most new fantasies as I read a lot of spiritual books (mainly Pagan or Shaman centered) but I have a guilty pleasure for the Twilight saga despite how awful it is. My music tastes vary a lot depending on both my mood and how good the artist is with the genre they work with. For example, I'm not a huge fan of rap, but I'll gladly listen to Eminem, boyinaband, Nikki Minaj, and Lil' Wane simply because I enjoy how they personally make their music. Ironically, I'm also a fan of artists like Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Three Days Grace, Hollywood Undead, and Escape the Fate. Older bands such as KISS, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkin, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana are high up on my playlist as well - but recently I've gotten into music by Stitched Up Heart, Lacuna Coil, New Years Day, and (my babies) The Pretty Reckless. Amanda Palmer has very recently begun to shake my world as well, thanks to an FC. What other interest/Hobbies do you have? I enjoy boring things like meditation, Yoga, running (used to be track but Asthma destroyed it), and taking nature walks. I've also carried nerdy hobbies such as collecting pins, reading comics, obsessing over Anime, and stalking idols. I'm a freak like that. My more interesting side leads me into discussing things such as interests in Body Art (I'm apprenticing for a future side job as a Piercer), Video Editing (Sony Vegas is life), Nursing, Music (I'm learning to play the guitar) and Urban Exploration, because what's cooler than exploring abandoned places right? I'm really into goth culture and it's sub-cultures, and am very interested in psychology and animal behavior. What's your favorite color? I have a lot of favorite colors; Black, dark shades of red, emerald, gold, and midnight blue are the main ones though. What's your favorite drink? My favorite normal drink is probably some sort of juice with blueberry flavoring. My favorite alcoholic drink? I'm not too sure. I really enjoyed the Gin and Tonic I had once at a party - but one try probably doesn't count.
