I was wondering how people deal with members that come in just for the check, post the minimum to pass it and they go back off into the sunset? I've gotten a complaint about this due to the members in question holding very popular canons. Anonymous poster hash: ca7a5...4f3

Activity checks are probably my least favorite thing to do but I have to hold them. We just turned 3 weeks old and so we haven't actually had one yet but in our rules, we say once every three months. Do you think that's fair? Also since we have a fandom board I was wondering how others dealt with canons and if they had different requirements for activity checks? Or really just checks in general. My biggest fear is someone will sign in and post in the checks and then disappear. I'm leaning towards them having a certain amount of posts in the last month, how do you guys go about it?

How do you handle the dropped plots? That has always been my big gripe when someone poofs. You have relationships, plots and other interactions that are now suddenly dead in the water. its a reality of how we play/write but what do guys do when the activity check clears out half the characters. Restart the pots? Pretend relationships didn't happen?
