Sometimes, in the course of a roleplay, you come across a player with limitless creativity, boundless enthusiasm... and no goddamn reading comprehension. Now, it's one thing to miss the occasional detail, such as forgetting the color of a dress someone is wearing, or which of the six characters who all have names that begin with "A" is currently involved in a particular scene. But this thread is for people who saw the handsome faces, the pretty pictures, and stopped reading after the forum title (and sometimes not even). A few examples from my threads: "He gained his superpowers during the Rapture" in a setting where superpowers have literally existed for ten thousand years, and Rapture was the name of a group of people. "They give other people superpowers" in the same damn setting as above where the lore specifically lays out the only way to get superpowers. "She's the youngest witch ever!" actually you picked a completely average age, if you read the setting you'll see the big bolded part that talks about how old most green witches are... "So what year does this take place in" LITERALLY THE FIRST LINE OF THE RP STATES THE DATE AND THE LOCATION "I posted my profile!" Yes, and if you scroll up, you'll see the bold, red line of text that tells you to send me your profile first so I can critique it privately before throwing it out to the wolves. "Why can't I play X character?!" BECAUSE IT'S NOT A FANDOM RP DID YOU EVEN READ WHAT SECTION OF THE FORUM YOU'RE IN I have a lot of pent up rage.
