Someone somewhere went to sleep and dreamed us all alive.
Dreams get pushed around a lot, and I doubt if we'll survive.
We won't get to wake up, dreams were born to disappear.
And I'm pretty sure that none of us are here.

Any of Steve Alton's books are worth reading. He's got a ton of monster/horror books out, his primary series being Meg (which The Meg movie is based on), Domain (Based on the 2012 Mayan Doomsday prophecy),  The Loch, as well as seven stand alone novels.

For those that love werewolves, I highly recommend Robert R. McCammon's The Wolf's Hour. It is available in several formats. Awesome take on the werewolf critter. I've read it several times.
