RottenEmu 4 Share Posted September 4, 2020 I have to say I wasn't familiar with the use of Canon in this way 😛 and I also think Star Trek is a lot more strict in accepting what is and isn't canon (basically only things that were committed to camera is true canon) Favourite character is a very difficult one to answer, but it's probably someone from DS9 as those characters had the most chance to gestate and develop. Especially when it comes to the antagonists. I absolutely loved to hate Kai Wynn. And Gul Dukat was something else entirely. I think I'd have to go with 'Plain and Simple' Garak though. To stir up some shit, when I was a teen, I was absolutely smitten by Ezri, and I still like the character on rewatching the show. I think she'd done a whole lot better if given the opportunity to do additional seasons. Too much wrapping up was going on in the last season to allow for a new character to grow and get their own satisfying story-arc.
