signature coding

Question

Posted (edited)

Out of curiosity and so that I don't have to make a new thread and clutter things, what kind of code is allowed in the signatures? Because I've tried html and bbcode and neither of those worked. xD @Dragon

I'm assuming you're wanting to have an icon with a link to your site in your signature!

You won't need any code to do it. What you'll want to do is click the Choose Files button right down below the post field.

- Upload your banner/icon. You can resize and align it by double clicking.

- Highlight the image

- Click on the "add link" icon in the toolbar

- In the input box that opens, past the link to your site in the URL field

- Leave the "Link Text" field blank

- Save your changes and Voila!

Hopefully that was the answer you were looking for! Let me know if I misinterpreted!

@DragonI was actually thinking of doing a bit of code as a signature, but if that isn't possible that's also fine.

We have a WYSIWYG editor. For the most part if you copy and paste it should copy most of the code from the source for you. We have previously discussed the possible use of HTML by the members of the Initiative however it's a lot more complicated than it sounds and causes undo security risks that we prefer to avoid.
