Hello everyone! I'm Grim and I've been rping for about sixteen years (I discovered MUDs when I was 12). My favorite genres are horror and high fantasy. The two together are amazing. I will RP via any method, as I'm not really picky. I'm from the United States. I love to read horror literature and other stories with dark themes.

 

Most of my time is spent reading or writing--the latter via play by post forums lately. I absolutely hate character applications though, so my pickings are really slim--most times the applications require more info than I've figured out, as I need to write a character and get a feel for them prior to penning their history. If you want me to RP with you on a site where applications are required, please don't hesitate to mention them; I have been known to go through the dreadful process of applying for a character if the site interested me enough.

Welcome to the Initiative @Grimscythe we're glad to have you. I'm actually surprised you have a problem finding no-app sites. I certainly don't like app sites myself.

I must be looking in the wrong places. ^.^;; This is my first time looking for something new really. For those 16 years, I played the same two games.

It's quite possible. I don't like them myself. I always seem to develop and change my character from their app in their first thread so they are often nothing like what I apped. I always feel like apps are more like character resumes and like if its not a good enough resume then I don't get the job/into the RP. Which to me feels like a big hassle for a hobby.

EXACTLY how I feel about them. I feel my characters out and rarely have them figured out before I want to play them.
