We use both cbox and Discord. Neither seems more popular than the other but cbox seems easier for the guests to access.

I prefer discord, but am always on the look out for a proper, visually appealing integration... any recommendations? The best ones wind up becoming unstable and going down, or are hideous-- still looking for something that is stable and sexy lookin.

I have fully converted over to Discord a few years ago. I find it easier to manage than the chat box and it's a great way that we can keep track of opened and tagged threads. It's also nice to have various rooms with permissions so that staff can chat etc.
