Affiliate and Ad Banner Sizes

Hiya, 

 

having been out of the admin game for a while I am trying to figure out what banner sizes will need made for my new project. I see the classic 88x31 is still going strong - but what other formats are common these days? 

 

Any tips on what sizes to have ready would be appreciated.

Well 88x31 is the really only still common one. Here on the Initiative you have a few different things:

We have custom sizes for different bits and bobs for your listing. The top one is only available for patrons. The Next one is the one that you can customize that shows everywhere. The next one is for display in some places and the last one is also for Patrons as we removed our spotlight feature.

Also seen 500 x 500 and 468 x 100 in a lot of listings and directories. So if anyone else is dealing with getting a new site listed those I can recommend as sizes to have to hand for a lot of places.

Never heard of 468x100 I've heard of 468x64 (advertisement size like for Google ads etc) but never the 468x100.

Was surprised too, but seems to be a thing in topsites/ ranking sites like https://www.toprpsites.com or http://forumroleplay.gotop100.com for example.
