reznik 4 Share Posted June 7, 2023 Currently only three characters with active apps who are in play. I prefer a small roster. Genuinely don't know how the people with 10+ characters do it.
gakitori 0 Share Posted June 11, 2023 Currently playing: 48 (over 8 slow moving 1x1's and 2 groups) Actively waiting to introduce: 18 Unused: >5 Only counting characters over the last decade... otherwise I'll be counting forever haha. Filling the world between two people is rough, but I also prefer a smaller, dedicated group to make up the cast instead of wrangling 20+ players. JuliLouWho 1 Share Posted June 13, 2023 I always have way more characters than I can handle honestly. I am just getting back into the game and I will not allow myself to do this again. I have had 7 characters one time and only played one regularly. Terrible.
Wes 3 Share Posted July 11, 2023 Right now, 15 going on 16 and they're all in use that I know of. Thing is that some threads are slower than others so it lets me keep up pretty okay unless life gets in the way or something. It also does mean that some of my threads will be slower as I prioritize others or newer members, which I think is fine. Shade 0 Share Posted July 29, 2023 One main character that I use the most often, and a couple others that are active. New character inspiration doesn't strike very often, so I prefer to focus on keeping it small and using/developing all of them.
Remedy 2 Share Posted August 16, 2023 Ahaha, what a perfect question, I have always had this problem where I make characters as the site first starts..then I fill want ads for characters and never play my original bunch. I currently have 10 characters with 1 in the making and I probably actively play 3 of the 10 x.x oops. Pern's New Era is upon us.. Lani394 4 Share Posted December 27, 2023 Try as I might to control myself when it comes to characters, I always end up making quite a few. I do post pretty regularly. If not daily then usually within a couple of days. However depending on the threads I'm in or the writers I'm playing with, some characters get stuck I feel, then I can't write them as actively. On the flip side, I have my main 3 that I would say I keep quite active. An original supernatural rp
Ventus 6 Share Posted January 5 In terms of characters I have now, I currently have about 20 characters on one site, which almost all of them are active give or take depending on the week. And my ttrpg characters I have 8 where 3 are consistently played and 5 are intermittently played. If we're talking about since the beginning of my roleplay career I'm easily in the 1000's character wise. I cycled through characters pretty often in my younger years, not to mention having nothing to do during summers between school years and just joining rp sites and making a bunch of characters and doing nothing but roleplaying lmao. Fix 5 Share Posted March 21 I'm typically on 2 or 3 rpgs at a time. On my home RPG I have probably 20-ish in play, and maybe 10 of them actively in threads. I usually can't help myself from 2 or 3 (or 5) on other sites I might be on. I dedicate a lot of time to writing, so I can maintain a big cast. If I start to get overloaded, I scale back in a way that won't leave other writers hanging. // Absit Omen Wizarding World
MRO Mods 2 Share Posted March 31 I have created 5 characters on the site that is the only site I play on. 4 are still around. In the last few months I have only posted with 2 of them. I do have 2 different DND characters I RP with right now in the Discord servers for my DND groups. MRO HOME | RULES | APPLICATION
divabeq 1 Share Posted April 3 I have a lot of characters but I can only keep three actively going at once, generally. Otherwise I start losing the plot a bit, or I wind up neglecting some of them. Discord | Masked in Shadows | Join
jtferdinand 0 Share Posted April 8 I guess my follow on question would be how many players are needed for a game to thrive, I think 3-4 on each is probably enough for us. If we have too many players, could they not post actions at the same time. How do you mitigate this if you are playing multiple characters?
