Cover Photo Size

When poking at my directory listing to make sure everything was shiny from the moving translations, I noted that both the original buttons and the spotlight buttons specified what size they needed to be. Obviously, they're designed to be in particular places. However, there wasn't any guidelines for the cover photos. A recommended size, or even an aspect ratio, would be very handy for those of us who are interested in making cover photos for our directory listings.

The best size for this is 1300x400 px.

 

Larger will work too but this is likely the best size. It will re-size based on screen resolution.

 

This feature is exclusive to staff members and patrons though.

Sorry about that. The cover photo is not yet released. Unfortunately we cannot provide "good" dimensions as it's responsive. Once it's up we will try to get a best quality set of dimensions for everyone.

Are you expecting the aspect ratio to stay the same at the various reactive sizes? If not, I highly recommend a template that indicate what areas of the image will be visible in all display situations.

 

I've got plenty of other graphics I still need to design *cough*ProjectWonderful*cough* and still need to finish my efforts to make a mobile friendly skin for my Nova, so I'm certainly in no rush. Just finding shiny new things to poke at and being excited.

Unsure at this time unfortunately. There are some big graphical changes that have to come with it.
