For me it usually depends on the character. Kind of like me. It all depends on what is going on. Sometimes I'm logical and others I am overly emotional.

I dont have one.

sometimes i wish i could play an extremely logical character. unfortunately, i am an emotional person and i sometimes find it hard to tamp down that knee-jerk reaction. it takes me longer with characters who are meant to be logical and "ice queen" style, until i really get into playing them, but most often i try for that character and they manage to be more emotional than expected lol

I think pretty much all of my characters are ruled primarily by emotion. That's definitely a me thing though, because I often am like that as well. It's hard for me to even understand someone who is strictly logical.

1 character of mine wholly ruled by emotions 90% of the time is Sienna. She's loving and passionate and just feels so deeply but that can be such a downfall for her.

A character of mine who prefers logic is Zephyra. She prefers thinking it all through and going through each step and then thinking of possible outcomes for if she does xyz

My main is definitely a combination of both! I think if she didn't have a lot of responsibility currently, she'd be a lot more prone to following her emotions, but she instead has to consider the logical outcomes of her actions.

Most of my characters do not view logic and emotions as opposites. Even my Vulcan characters. Emotions are just subjective experiences of the world. They aren't logical or illogical, they're just there. That being said, some of my characters are better than others at regulating their emotions.

I have a "core crew" of characters and they are so split on this.

Misha, Nate, and Thraedian are my logical thinkers.
Jesse, Justin, and Ethan are my emotional thinkers.
Nyle and Wesley are my both ways thinkers.

All of my characters, current and past, always tend to be ruled by emotion. I think that is just part of me bleeding into them though. I suppose I just identify better with characters who are ruled by emotions as I am the same way. Logic? What is logic? Ha.

Zech: Values logic more than emotion, but can get swept up in a moment.

Aslan: Acts on logic more than emotion, but is also highly impulsive.

Rod: Mostly emotion, with an easy to melt candy coating of logic.

Mehmet: Compassionate nerd, likes riding a good feeling.

Anita: Usually has a reason, even if the reason is beyond reason.

Fanny: Because she feels like it.

Chris: Because he feels like it, but might try to trick you into thinking there's a reason.

Ropati: Toss-up. Keeps a cool head though.

Lory: I actually have to pause and think on whether she's highly emotional or just stuck in a lot of emotionally charged situations; smart but prone to fits of rage over perceived provocations.

My jedi (kyle) is definitely driven by emotion, while my clone Commander "draco" is driven by logic..with my smuggler being a happy  mix of emotions & logic.
