Do you ever use the block function?

Not on RP sites but yes on a certain resource site that I don't visit often anyway. There are just some opinions that really piss me off and there's no point in letting people raise my hackles if I don't have to.

I used to argue a lot but why bother? I don't like those people anyway so they can stay on their ignorant side of the fence.

Reality is an illusion.

On forums? Not really. By the time I feel as if I wanna block someone they're usually gone due to being banned by staff. If it were a chat system and they kept trolling/harassing/whatever toward me or friends yes I'd block them. I've used it on Discord chats too.

I blocked my first few people on Discord. One because they sent me a copy paste message wanting to rp then claiming they didn't mean what they said when I declined and refused to take no for an answer.

Another because they seem to think I want to joint their site despite having no idea what it is about or who the hell they even are.

I try not to because it bothers me when pieces of the discussion or whatever are missing. I used to be super argumentative as well with people who had certain opinions or who would go after my friends. Still am, kinda, but a lot better about letting things slide off my shoulders now, and it's very hard to get me to block someone over simply a difference in opinion alone.

At the same time I have a high tolerance for BS somehow so now whenever someone comes along that grates on my nerves that much they're usually gone from the site on their own or by way of banhammer anyways.
