Replace "Board" with Image?

I'm working on a site in Jcink, and I'm rather unfamiliar with its coding (this is my first time going outside of Proboards, who's administrative structure I really love). Is there a code that would let me replace the "New/Old" field and the board title/description with a single image?

Previously I had it set up with a regular New/Old pair of images, the board title unalterated, and just had a small image in the description. Being that my old image host decided to go POOF (loosing me most of my stuff admittedly) I started looking for something that might give a little...Pizzaz, without completely wrecking the forum layout. Even if it just merges the title and description while leaving the New/Old undisturbed.

It will depend on the skin but to do this you would be replacing "macros" and those are done on a per skin basis as well. It will be under the theme/appearance section and then it's called "Macros" when you get here you will get the current images/look? and then you would put the <img src="URLHERE"> in the box and save it. It would then replace it on the front end as long as the skin you are using uses this feature.

If not it would get more in depth from here to re-add it.

Unless you are talking about the actual description, then it's a bit different as well.

The name and description box, not the macro in the first column.

I was seeing boards with setups similar to below - with varying information attached to it and either description or suboards listed as a mouse-over.

Which I realize is probably just a re-organize of the tables, but I think I would like to do away with the "topics and posts" counts and "new/no new" macro column entirely, and hide the board title. So I was wondering if it would even be something that's possible.

Of course. This used to be something done with CFS but now you can modify this on Jcink via the "HTML Templates" listed in the left column under "Skins & Templates". I recommend making a new set but you don't have to.

From there click "Edit" and edit the "Forum Row" in there. Variables and whatnot are listed here:

You've introduced me to a WHOLE NEW WOOOORRRRRLLLLLDDDDDDD.....  for a while there I thought I was going to end up over complicating things. But, just as an update, I've figured out a good way of adjusting the forum row so that the main page looks the way I want.
