Icyboards Background image not showing up

I want to add a background image to the global css file, but the background image does not show up even though I've tried several different ways of using the css background tags to make it show up. (And the code is correct, so it must be something to do with icyboards.) Is it possible to put background images in the template files instead, if so, which file do I need to use?

I think the best person to ask is @Gothams Reckoning!

I've figured it out just now. It appears to have a lot of stuff on top of it, because when I scroll down to the bottom, I can see the image. It must be the background properties in the other css files that are obscuring it, but I'm not sure which ones I need to change.
