I think they call this "author insertion" (sounds dirty but not intentional 😅) in literary circles. It's a trope called "Mary Sue" as well.

I am sooooo guilty of it, but usually only certain traits. Almost all my characters are stubborn, because I am (heh). Also, if it's a female character I often match their hair colour to my own for some reason. Everything else could be different but I will often do that without even realizing it.
