Cover vs background

Question

So, what exactly is the difference between the cover photo and the background image for the member profile?

They are exactly as they sound. Just like on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ you have a "cover photo" that is a banner at the top of your profile that is a cover photo. This photo is also used in your hover card (when you mouseover a username anywhere the little card that pops up). However your background is a background on your profile that shows to everyone that visits your profile.

Alright, thanks! All these gimmicks are cool but it's gotta take me a bit to get used to them.
