Hello people! I'm Whammy, veteran RPer in the sense of "I've been RPing for I'm pretty sure like a decade now". Seriously, I forget when I started, but was looking at some old sites of mine out of nostalgia and was like "holy crap that post is almost a decade old!" and was pretty sure I started that site a couple years after I started. I've also been running RPs about that long, to various levels of success.

 

I mostly do canon RPs, usually of the animanga/cartoon types but sometimes other things. Occasionally dabble in original sites or stuff, but most of my experience has been with canon sites. Just a snippet of things I've RPed: Naruto, Fate/Stay series, Digimon, Ouran High School Host Club, Clannad (first successful site I ran) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (longest running, active site I ran), Shugo Chara, Zootopia, Lion King, Mass Effect, Night in the Woods. So pretty wide range, with some preference towards slice-of-life and actiony RPs. Being able to do a mixture of that successfully is really good too.

 

Outside of RP, I'm a graduate student working on a PhD in Political Science. Recently defended dissertation proposal, meaning at the point of teaching and doing my dissertation research now. RPing is a good hobby for me to be able to read and write about something other than political science XD. While I'm already on RPG-Directory, figured good to have more places to seek out either RP sites or drag people to sites I'm on (got a lot of wanted ads for a couple places I'm on right now XD).
