When You Don't Know What is Wrong

I've seen and been on all sides of the spectrum with this.

Firstly, whether to let it slide or not depends on what kind of board and atmosphere you have. What you do on a realistic site might be stricter than a very lax site.

Secondly, if you are considering reacting, you really do need to get the details of what it is. Sometimes the thing lacks research and is portrayed badly. Sometimes it's just a minor thing. Sometimes it's the complainer's opinion. Sometimes it's the complainer basing all their facts upon their own experience. And sometimes it's just misinterpretation. And again, what to do about the situation when you have the whole picture really does depend on your kind of site and atmosphere.

Can a bad portrayal scare away members?
YES. It can scare away existing members, the writer, or even other members or guests who merely observed what happened. The writing on the site is just a much a part of their decision to play as the administrative decisions.

A relaxed, dark and gritty roleplay based on Disney's Zootopia.
