For the first time, I'm wondering if I should deviate from the modern supernatural genre and try something completely new... but where to start?

Me: *trying to work on my work computer and get things done by end of day*
Labourers: *working in the yard doing their work.*
Labourers: *turn on the power tools to complete their work.
Power: *goes out*.
