Several teams were aboard a secret mission plane leaving England at 4am this Friday, with three intended destinations, each without direct portals installed. There were no distress calls. The plane and its passengers simply didn't arrive at any of their planned destinations and there is no indication of where they may have stopped or if they may have crashed. All communications are down. Rescue teams have been sent out across the Atlantic Ocean and its many islands with high hopes. "Acting swiftly may save lives," says Administrator Benson, who oversees portal travel.

Remember: the plane held only 256 passengers (including the pilot and his team) but they were divided into several teams, each going to one of three destinations. Those teams no longer matter, depending on what part of the island the characters landed on. The aforementioned destinations were remote and nameless villages without portal systems set up yet.
