    Absit Omen is a well-established Wizarding World AU set in 2018. Our plots are member-driven. We enjoy political intrigue, social movements, interpersonal drama, magical adventure, and crime. 

     

    We actively re-write HP canon to create something better, throwing out harmful stereotypes at the foundation of the fandom. Writers and characters of a broad range of background are welcome! 

     

    • 18+, mature content is tagged, culture of consent
    • Laid back pace.
    • No enforced word count. Most people post at least 3 or 4 paragraphs.

    Absit Omen is a well-established roleplay and community with an extremely welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere. The site itself is a dream to navigate and very easy on the eyes. AO is accepting and encouraging toward new players (of which I am one myself!), and the care that the staff put into their space, community and roleplaying is an inspiration. All-round great vibes!
