  1. Here's a question that hasn't been asked in some time. I know we have people here who run fandom sites. I'm curious how you go about managing yours. Do you allow canons? How do you use or manage your canons? Are you original characters only? How do you come up for plots for non canons? Do you allow non canons? Everyone does something differently that works for them and their specific fandom. I'd love to learn more about what you do, why, and how.

  3. Currently on the site i have while it is based on a fandom (Sailor Moon), the only canons we allow are the titles roles from the anime. So for instance you'd make an OC and they'd take on that tile of Sailor Venus. While i do love Sailor Moon, I personally feel like the anime accomplished enough. the story is done, and having show canons do things after the show is common. I try to have it be where each group feels include. there are times its still hard because of how closed the groups can be. i consider everyone a canon, so i make plots that include the whole site, something they can mention in a thread. as for how i come up with plots for non canons, and canons, well it depends on whats going on in the story.

  5. story all the way. im not a big romance roleplayer and like those to happen within the story as characters interact with one another. i find fun in seeing how a character would handle certain situations, or dangerous moments that maybe they didn't handle in a tv show

  6. Less -Slice of Life -LGBTQIA safe space notes on advertisements (was it not safe...before to join...?) RL Sites -18+ Websites that aren't kink rp being really about sex and hardly the rp. -Spirit Personified Rp Sites (I just want to roleplay the actual character not an illusion of it.) -Supernatural Genre Sites (I see a new one pop up every other month

  7. Generally, I prefer to focus on the story as well. I like exploring romance though, don't get me wrong. I really just like to flesh out my characters, or put them in testing situations to see how they handle it, then develop as a result. A friend once said that they like to break their characters to see the beauty within, and that has kind of stuck with me.

  8. I would like to say I'm more story focused but I feel like lately it's been more relationship centered (platonic and romantic). I was just conversing with a RP partner today about how I'd like to focus more on developing stories for my characters so they're not so dependent on the relationships. Of course, this also impacts your RP partners, so if they're focused more on one thing, it's more likely I will be focused on the same.
