  • It Doesn't end with Death

    Overview

This request is for the mortals in Casimiro's life that are feeling like there has been a massive hole that had just been ripped out of their lives. Although Casimiro has always had a contingency for how to deal with his family when the time for his Embrace came around, there is nothing easy about tricking his siblings and family into believing that he is dead.An accident was staged, that resulted in a closed-casket funeral in a way to hopefully give his siblings a sense of closure so they could take his body back home and lay him to rest without knowing that Cas wasn't as dead as they believed him to be. While it might have seemed cruel in the moment, it was the best for all involved as Cas fears that if they didn't believe him to be dead, they would continue digging into what happened to him and could potentially put targets on their back.

    Potential plot points:

    • While Cas is the only member of the siblings to show any sort of ability or power while he was mortal, there is always a possibility that it's a family thing and either one or both of the siblings could be special too.

    • Great care was taken to make it seem like it was all just a freak accident with emphasis on letting go and moving on. I would love for this planning, to actually have the opposite effect that Cas had intended, and it only serves to pull them deeper into the mystery. Perhaps they instead of taking it as closure, believe something else happened and start to investigate.

    • Cas is operating under a new name of Marko Caballero for all of his business dealings. Including his artwork & music.

    EULÁLIA ALVARO

31 years old | open face (Spanish Heritage) | open for play

Eulália is Cas's younger sister and while the three of them were all close in age, Cas and Eulália are only 11 months apart. They practically grew up together and when things between their parents began to go sideways and their mother lost herself to the bottle once the divorce was finalized, they pretty much glued themselves to one another. She would go on to become quite the long distance marathon runner. The biggest divide between Cas and Eulália happened after his accident in Sweden which granted him the ability to see ghosts and communicate with ghosts. Having such a rational mind, Eulália wasn't able to allow herself to believe that what he could be telling her was true and while she had always hoped there would be a chance to reconcile their differences, but with his perceived passing that never happened.

    FABIÁN ALVARO

37 years old | open face (Spanish Heritage) | open for play

Fabián is the eldest of the Alvaro children. He's five years older than both Cas and Eulália but still was close to both of his younger siblings. While Fabián didn't exactly believe in the things that Cas could do he wasn't as against the mere thought of it as their sister was. He didn't bring it up often, knowing that it would only cause them to fight and he wanted to spend what time he had with his siblings without the added drama. Fabián was one of the spearheaded for their love of music in the household and while Cas was always the drawer/painter of the house he would push his brother to use some of his other skills. When word of Cas's passing reached Fabián he'd been back in Barcelona visiting Eulália while taking a leave of Absence from the hospital he was a Surgeon at. As his next of kin, they would make the trip to London to begin making arrangements to bring him home.
