One of the identical triplet brother's of Byron, this brother is more politically minded. Like his other two brothers, Duncan was raised in the West Hills as the son of the Arl, and if one ever asked his siblings they were all certain Duncan would be the one to take over the title. More poised than his other two brothers, he cares a great deal for the state of the people of the West Hills but always seems to have his ear to the ground when it comes to political rumblings and goings on.
Not the biggest fan of Byron becoming ruler of Ferelden, he's stood still by his side since it happened and acted as advisor. Byron listens to him and relies on him a great deal so as to not anger the other nations, and also because it's his brother. Whatever their issues about titles are, Duncan is still loyal to his brother and not out to tarnish his reputation or harm him in anyway, his issues mostly stemming from the why Byron was put on the throne and not that his brother has the title.
