About This File

Don't Make a Sound was originally created by Josie for icyboards. With her permission, we have converted it for use for mybb. It is fully compatible with the enhanced account switcher.

Compatiblity

This theme is probably not compatible with myBB versions below 1.8.20, or the enhanced account switcher below 2.1.9

I recommend updating before using this theme.

What's New in Version 1.1.1

Released

This theme has been updated to match the latest version of myBB. This includes:

  • Variable changes
  • Additional templates
  • Javascript updates

I also updated the account switcher to ensure that updated plugin would still appear fine. It didn't. It should now.

I've also made some minor appearance changes

  • Switched the forums into flex, so that they can expand to fill the whole space if need be. Also given them a margin to separate them out a little. You can see the before and after below

BeforeAfter

  • Applied the same to subforums
  • Increased font size
  • Added titles to the material icons
  • Agree 1

I'm trying to figure out prostats and the images folder? It says to make a new folder for the theme in the Images folder, but I'm not positive on that part? And I'm also not seeing anything for prostats in templates unless I make one myself. I also don't see anything in the zip for prostats.

Edit: I found a prostats.css?

Edit2: It doesn't seem to work with a postscript I have set up for my plot page?

Hi @Nemmet

Prostats is a plugin https://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=59 if you are not using it you do not need to worry about those instructions.

Yes, you need to create a new folder in your images folder with the name as instructed. If you do not, you will need to manually change the file path for all of the images in the images.css file. Simply dumping all of your images directly into the images folder can become problematic if you ever have more than one theme. If you are not sure how to create a new folder in your images folder via FTP or File Manager (through the CPanel) please use the coding requests and help forum (linked at the bottom of this post).

Unfortunately, no theme can account for all of the different scripts that someone might use. If you need help troubleshooting the conflict, please use the following forum and we'll be happy to assist properly.

@Kit the Human

Ahhh, okay! Good to know on those two points.

And I used an outdated term with postscripts :'D It's a holdover from AcornRack. By that I meant template. I figured out what I missed with it though - forgot to re-add the CSS for it to the new theme.
