Yume 99 Share Posted October 2, 2018 These prompts are in no way required but they can be used to spur on interest and writing for your novel. You can technically write them as separate pieces intended for character/world building, or something else entirely, it's up to you. -- Meal Times bring us together - Write a scene in which something (reasonably) important happens over a meal. - Nov 1st - 3rd -- Secrets keep us apart - Write a scene, or insert into your plot some other way, a secret that a character is keeping that is important to either the plot itself or the character as a person. - Nov 4th-10th -- Our history leads to our future - Consider how your character's history influences the path they have chosen. Write something into your story that reminds your character of why they're doing what they're doing. - Nov 11th-17th -- Taking Chances - Write your character into a tough spot, and then let them work their way out of it taking whatever risks they must to ensure success. - Nov 18th-24th -- Light at the end of the Tunnel - As your story is (hopefully!) coming to a close, write about the renewed hope or passion that your MC has found as they conclude their journey (or prepare to start the next step of it). November 25th-30th. 1 Some must be warriors that others may live in peace.
