How do you figure out your characters names?

Usually it's through random google searches, I try to match the vibe the character gives me with a name so I might narrow the search with some specific "aesthetic". I really like that one Fantasy Name Generator site too, it's come in handy for me quite a few times!

I love https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/ for names, placenames etc. I use it all the time.

If it's a period site, I might end up on very obscure website with names from a tax roll in Paris anno 1421.
