Hello loves, I'm Hysteria; Cliche Queen and RP Addict at your service. 

To save you all my over-zealous rants, I'll just answer these questions.

 

• How long have you been RPing?

 

I started officially roleplaying when I was around eight years old (around 2006) but before then I'd exchange journals with friends from school or do the writing via messaging systems such as AIM or Myspace, you get the idea.

 

• What are your favorite RP genres?

 

I'm normally a sucker for animal roleplays or things centering around the non-human variety. However, I can also be found on High School sites, Supernaturals, Sci-Fi's, and Medievals. Dystopians always own my heart, but I think it just depends on my current obsession and whether or not the environment fits my needy personality.

 

• How do you like to RP (Forum, chat, email)?

 

Forums, mostly. I don't mind rapid fire's through chats, though.

 

• What is your favorite book, movie or type of music (or all three)?

 

My taste in movies ranges from eighties slashers to cheesy romances. I also have a sick adoration for torture porn (aka the Saw series and similar flicks) as well as Psychological Horrors, Studio Ghibli films, and a few Comedies (namely Tyler Perry's lighter films). My guilty movie pleasure is Moulin Rouge.

 

When it comes to books, I'm a huge fan of the both Manga and Comics (Team DC) but when it comes to actual novels, I really enjoy older authors like William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and Maya Angelou. Stephan King's Carrie always resonated with me as well, and Ellen Hopkin's poetry is a joy to read (especially her YA novels,). I'm not really into most new fantasies as I read a lot of spiritual books (mainly Pagan or Shaman centered) but I have a guilty pleasure for the Twilight saga despite how awful it is.

 

My music tastes vary a lot depending on both my mood and how good the artist is with the genre they work with. For example, I'm not a huge fan of rap, but I'll gladly listen to Eminem, boyinaband, Nikki Minaj, and Lil' Wane simply because I enjoy how they personally make their music. Ironically, I'm also a fan of artists like Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Three Days Grace, Hollywood Undead, and Escape the Fate. Older bands such as KISS, Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkin, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana are high up on my playlist as well - but recently I've gotten into music by Stitched Up Heart, Lacuna Coil, New Years Day, and (my babies) The Pretty Reckless.

 

Amanda Palmer has very recently begun to shake my world as well, thanks to an FC.

 

• What other interest/Hobbies do you have?

 

I enjoy boring things like meditation, Yoga, running (used to be track but Asthma destroyed it), and taking nature walks. I've also carried nerdy hobbies such as collecting pins, reading comics, obsessing over Anime, and stalking idols. I'm a freak like that.

 

My more interesting side leads me into discussing things such as interests in Body Art (I'm apprenticing for a future side job as a Piercer), Video Editing (Sony Vegas is life), Nursing, Music (I'm learning to play the guitar) and Urban Exploration, because what's cooler than exploring abandoned places right?

 

I'm really into goth culture and it's sub-cultures, and am very interested in psychology and animal behavior.

 

• What's your favorite color?

 

I have a lot of favorite colors; Black, dark shades of red, emerald, gold, and midnight blue are the main ones though.

 

• What's your favorite drink?

 

My favorite normal drink is probably some sort of juice with blueberry flavoring.

My favorite alcoholic drink? I'm not too sure. I really enjoyed the Gin and Tonic I had once at a party - but one try probably doesn't count.
