c.widow 123 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Hey guys! Introductions are always hard for me as I'm never really sure what to say so I'll try to keep this short and sweet, as I'm sure no one wants to read a bunch of paragraphs. The name is Isoldehn but I generally go by Iso, I've been around for a very long time but under a few different names with time. Most of this time I've been role playing but my very first adventures were with sim games and then I slowly got introduced to forum role play. I tend to lean towards animal role plays, specifically equine and canine areas though I have recently joined my first human RP and it's quite the journey. My talents are pretty much limited to coding and that's about 99% of what I do in my spare time. So if you're having coding issues, specifically on MyBB software because thats mainly what I code on, poke me. I'm happy to help. Also a little fun fact about me: In real life I am currently in college. At the moment I am headed for a degree in nursing (RN, registered nurse) but will likely be changing my degree here soon to computer programming and that fun jazz because... well I'd prefer my future job to also be my passion. 1
Admin Morrigan 1,826 Admin Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hey there @isoldehn welcome to the Initiative! We're glad to have. Shifting from being a nurse to a programming degree is a big shift so good luck!! Profile set made by myself and original Artwork by Fae Merriman, my daughter. c.widow 123 Author Share Posted January 31, 2017 @Morrigan it will for sure be a big shift, however it won't be too big of a shift for me as I at one point attended DeVry for computer programming. Though because of unfortunate circumstances my DeVry journey ended very soon and for about a year I was out of school and working my buns off to pay for some personal life needs. I'm hoping its the right choice though to switch back to programming degree wise, it's pretty much my passion but I will likely have to leave my home town just for a job as I live in a VERY small country community and things like that aren't really needed or demanded around here. Thank you for the welcome!!

c.widow 123 Author Share Posted January 31, 2017 Oh man well since we both like coding (even if we have different preferences in languages) I'm sure we'll make friends! I've never really been able to get into gaming, I'm far too competitive and become violent when I lose.. and honestly I can't afford to replace my play station every time I lose a race! xD
Admin Morrigan 1,826 Admin Share Posted January 31, 2017 lol, That is why I prefer to play single player games or just kid games with my kids. Profile set made by myself and original Artwork by Fae Merriman, my daughter.
c.widow 123 Author Share Posted January 31, 2017 xD My younger brother had a Disney Cars game and I even had issues with it... I just really can't! HAHA!
Admin Morrigan 1,826 Admin Share Posted January 31, 2017 lol, I had to learn at an early age how to play nice with others. I get upset after a while but then I just get off. Little Big Planet or Lego dimensions (co-op games) are a lot better in my opinion. Profile set made by myself and original Artwork by Fae Merriman, my daughter. c.widow 123 Author Share Posted January 31, 2017 I might just have to give those a try! I never really considered lego like games. I'd assume those are actually relaxing instead of too much competition encouragement. Something like the good ol' Tetris is what I need.
Admin Morrigan 1,826 Admin Share Posted January 31, 2017 Yeah. Co-op games require that you play well with others. I love Lego Dimensions but my kids enjoy everything lego and it's basically impossible to lose from what I've seen. Profile set made by myself and original Artwork by Fae Merriman, my daughter.
