Blogs here on the Initiative are pretty easy to navigate, that are personable and you don't have to worry about upkeep. We offer this service to those that don't have time to make a wordpress account or go through the hassle of figuring out how to set one up.
How do you make one you ask?
Easy!
- Click on "Blogs" in the header.
- Click "Create Blog" at the top of the list of recent entries.
- Make your selections, give it a name, describe it (if you want) choose whether it's public or private, turn on or off the RSS (This is so that others can pull a feed onto their website).
- Click Continue.
- You have now successfully made a blog!
Now you're probably wondering, "How do I make this blog mine?" because it looks pretty bland and probably purple. Well there is one important thing to do to make your blog look like no other! Add a cover image!
- Click on "Photo"
- Click "Upload a Photo"
- Find a static image (no gifs please) and upload it. Wider then it is tall is always best.
- You can then adjust the position of the image and save it.
- Tah-dah! Now your blog looks amazing! It's totally you!
